The team mostly operates on-site with 99.9% of employees in the office covering shifts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When it comes to mass communication across the business, the management team has used other communication tools in the past, including OnShift. They also use ADP for benefit enrolments.

In fact, the team found out about OurPeople by being referred to the platform by their ADP representatives as they needed something that would pair with the ADP system.

Greater Functionality and Features

Now OurPeople has been integrated, they are finding it very easy to use with greater functionality and features than they’ve been used to in the past.

All the staff can receive messages and they are using the cover feature, Broadcasts, image files and text, and Stacks.

Personalized Communication

What is of greatest appeal is the ability to break down their daily communication and target employees according to skills, shifts, and job descriptions.

The nudge feature is a particular favorite as it is useful to be able to circle back to people who haven’t responded. Also, the option to send messages as an SMS or as a push notification offers greater flexibility.

Challenges that have been solved include being able to communicate with a wider employee group rather than having to send out messages to individuals one by one.

Since using the platform, they are finding more employees have responded to messages than previously.
